Vendor Performance Evaluation and Reporting using Power BI
In this workplace project, I took on the responsibility of evaluating multiple vendors based on their performance in terms of quality and compliance. Leveraging Excel files and Power BI, I designed a robust vendor evaluation system that allowed for thorough assessment and presented the findings through an annual dashboard to stakeholders, aiding strategic decision-making for future vendor collaborations.
I established a streamlined process to gather and consolidate data from various sources, utilizing Excel sheets to maintain vendor-specific quality and compliance records. These records were then transformed and visualized within Power BI, creating an interactive dashboard that provided a holistic view of vendor performance metrics.
Through this initiative, I provided stakeholders with a comprehensive understanding of each vendor's strengths and areas needing improvement. The annual reporting using the Power BI dashboard enabled stakeholders to make informed decisions regarding ongoing vendor relationships and potential collaborations.
