Dynamic Inventory Analysis and Visualization using Power BI
In this project, I undertook the role of an Inventory Analyst within my workplace, where I implemented a comprehensive inventory analysis solution. The focus of the project was to provide insightful and real-time analysis of clothing inventory based on style, size, and color. Leveraging the capabilities of Power BI, I designed an interactive dashboard that enabled dynamic exploration and visualization of inventory trends sourced from CSV files.
Through this initiative, I developed an automated process to extract, transform, and load inventory data from CSV files into Power BI. The data was then organized and categorized by style, size, and color attributes. Utilizing Power BI's visualization tools, I created a user-friendly dashboard that presented the analysis in an intuitive and visually appealing manner.
The dynamic nature of the dashboard allowed stakeholders to drill down into specific categories, view trends over time, and identify patterns and anomalies in inventory levels. This enabled more informed decision-making regarding restocking, sales strategies, and inventory management.
By including this project in my portfolio, I demonstrate my proficiency in data analysis, process automation, and data visualization using industry-standard tools like Power BI. This project not only showcases my technical skills but also highlights my ability to contribute to operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making within a business context.
